Our Story

Born from Devon's finest waters

Named after the pristine estuary of Salcombe, Devon — one of Britain's most celebrated coastal destinations — Salcombe Dental began in the dental chair. Our founder, a practising dentist, saw the same struggle in his patients every day: keeping retainers, aligners and other appliances genuinely clean, fresh and free from build-up.

So he turned to his younger brother, a practising pharmacist. Together they combined clinical experience with pharmaceutical formulation expertise to develop an effervescent cleansing tablet — engineered to deliver the best possible results for daily retainer hygiene, while staying safe, gentle and simple to use.
